iZOMBIE AND SUPERNATURAL ACTRESS DIES AT 51

Canadian actress Carrie Anne Fleming, a beloved figure in the horror and sci-fi communities, has passed away at the age of 51. The news was confirmed by her longtime colleague and friend, Jim Beaver, who shared that she died on February 26, 2026, following a courageous battle with complications from breast cancer.

Born in Nova Scotia and later becoming a staple of the British Columbia acting scene, Fleming built an impressive career spanning over three decades. She was perhaps most recognizable to global audiences for her recurring role in Supernatural, where she delivered a heartbreaking performance as Karen Singer. Beyond the Winchesters’ world, she spent five seasons as Candy Baker on the hit series iZombie and left a lasting mark on horror history with her transformative role in Dario Argento’s “Jenifer” episode of Masters of Horror.

Fleming’s filmography was remarkably diverse, including early appearances in cult classics like Happy Gilmore and roles in major series such as Smallville and Supergirl. Friends and peers have remembered her as a kind and inspiring presence who navigated the industry with grace and professionalism. She is survived by her daughter, Madalyn Rose.
